Our focus on leadership and management development creates safe spaces for us to connect, learn and grow. Our collaborative approach makes the most of what we already have whilst encouraging innovation to address gaps. We document and share this work widely to contribute positive social change beyond our region.

Our lead and manage mission

Help leaders and managers grow and develop

We design and offer opportunities for leaders and managers to grow, learn and develop. We focus on the needs of small and medium scale voluntary organisations, charities and social enterprises (VCSE) and individuals working for positive social change. From 2023-2025, you can join us for Lead and manage: Best self, great teams, amazing together. We’ve previously offered Yes We Can Lead and manage, Leadership essentials and Leadership in practice.

Help VCSE organisations and networks develop their leaders, managers and teams

We work with other VCSE organisations to design and facilitate programmes of support, with a particular focus on strategic planning, collaboration, individual and team development. Some of the organisations and networks we’ve worked with are Tyne Housing, Thriving Communities network and Leaders Together for North Tyneside.

Think and work strategically with others

We work collaboratively with institutions, organisations and individuals who share our vision to develop an ecosystem that supports and develops social leadership across our region

Create and share frameworks, tools and insights

We document, analyse and share our experiences and learning – regionally, nationally and internationally – to contribute to positive social change beyond our region.
