Collaboration makes the world go round. It’s how we get things done, how we make change happen, how we make the difference we want to see in the world. Networks seed collaboration, by connecting people with different strengths and beginning the process of exploring and generating new responses to important issues and opportunities. Collaboration runs through us like words in stick of rock. It’s how we approach all our work.

Our network and collaborate mission

Host and run networks

As network weavers and systems stewards we bring people together in networks to make and grow connections, seed ideas, support each other and contribute towards a healthy social change leadership in our region. We host North East Together: network for social change leadership and Trustees Together: network and community of practice for trustees.

Celebrate and champion collaboration

We celebrate and champion collaboration, working with others to make collaboration for social good the norm in our region.

Think and work collaboratively with others

We work collaboratively with institutions, organisations and individuals who share our vision to develop an ecosystem that supports and develops social leadership across our region. Our current collaborations include founding and co-facilitating the Great governance working group and campaign; Virgin Money’s Being a great trustee employee volunteering as trustees programme with Virgin Money Foundation; and hosting, and coaching within, the North East Coaching Collective.
